According to Portsmouth, the front door of a Costa coffee shop in Waterlooville was smashed during a burglary, forcing the store to close all day. The break-in was reported in an article published on 17 August 2025.
Commercial premises such as coffee shops are frequent targets for burglars seeking to steal cash, equipment, and stock. Installing reinforced doors and frames, robust locks, security systems, and adequate lighting can significantly reduce the risk of break-ins.
