Police have launched a probe following a suspected ram-raid at an M&S supermarket in Gosforth, Tyne and Wear, according to Chroniclelive. The incident, reported on 29 March 2024, resulted in the theft of a safe from the store. Ram-raids, in which vehicles are deliberately driven into properties to enable theft, pose significant risks to commercial premises and their staff. Business owners should consider reinforced bollards, secure shutters, and alarm systems to deter such attacks.
