According to Sloughobserver, a burglary at a private home in Slough resulted in serious consequences for both victim and offender. A man in his 60s suffered a head injury during the incident, which was classified as an aggravated burglary. Jewellery was stolen from the property during the attack.
Following the incident, a suspect was arrested on attempted murder charges in connection with the case. The offender was subsequently charged with burglary and grievous bodily harm (GBH) offences. Reports indicate the suspect forced entry by kicking down the door, and was later sentenced to two years in prison for the crime.
Homeowners should consider reinforcing entry points and installing security measures to deter determined intruders.
