Two men have been convicted and imprisoned for an armed robbery at PG Jewellery and Collectables in Holbeach, according to reports published on 24 August 2025. Ints Dombrovskis, 45, and Hugo Ignats, 42, carried out the raid while wearing masks, targeting the jewellery shop and restraining the shopkeeper who was present at the time. During the robbery, the offenders threatened the victim with death. The stolen goods were valued at £50,000.
Following investigation and trial, both men were found guilty and sentenced to prison. Business owners should maintain robust security measures, including alarm systems, CCTV, and staff training in emergency response procedures to protect against armed robbery.
