According to Irishnews and Belfastlive, an armed robbery targeted a cash-in-transit van in Newtownabbey, County Antrim. Masked men held staff members at gunpoint during the incident, which authorities described as particularly traumatic for the victims involved.
The staff were conducting a money transport operation when the armed individuals targeted the vehicle. Under direct threat from firearms, employees were forced to comply with the assailants’ demands. The perpetrators subsequently fled the scene after neutralizing the crew members through gun threats.
