According to Hampshirechronicle, two teenagers and a woman have been arrested in connection with a spate of ramraids on commercial premises in Romsey. The arrests represent a significant development in an ongoing investigation into a series of burglaries at local shops, according to Hampshire Police.
Ramraiding is a technique in which offenders use a vehicle as a battering ram to force entry into shops. The investigation is continuing to determine the precise involvement of each suspect in the series of break-ins at Romsey businesses.
Businesses should reinforce entry points and consider installing modern anti-ramraid barriers and alarms to protect against such attacks.
