Three people have been charged in connection with a break-in and theft at a shop on Union Street in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire. According to reports published on 11 November 2024, the incident at the Union Street Attic resulted in formal charges being brought against the suspects. Both a man and a woman appeared in court in relation to the case, as reported by Aberdeenlive and the Press and Journal.
Shop owners and managers should reinforce their security measures, including installing and maintaining reliable alarm systems, securing stock rooms and display areas, and ensuring staff are trained in emergency procedures to protect both merchandise and personal safety during break-ins.
