Thieves raided a home in Banstead while the owners were sleeping and stole a bank card, according to an article published on 10 September 2024 by Mylondon. The stolen card was subsequently used to make purchases, including cigarettes.
Homeowners are advised to store valuables, bank cards, and documents in a secure location, and to consider installing window and door locks, alarm systems, or security cameras to deter burglars.
