A thief has caused £5,800 of damage breaking into Cardinal Hume Catholic School in Gateshead, according to an article published on 9 April 2025. Chroniclelive reports that the incident involved a cleaner who worked at the school, with his partner reportedly assisting by pretending to clean the premises.
