According to the Telegraph, Liverpool FC initiated legal action against ADT for a breach of contract following a burglary at their Merseyside distribution centre on 1 January 2019. The theft, which involved the theft of merchandise, went undetected at the facility. The club is seeking damages exceeding £1 million from the security firm.
