A significant burglary targeting a warehouse in Retford, Nottinghamshire, resulted in the arrest of suspects, according to Worksopguardian. The thieves cut through the storage warehouse’s protective fencing and removed bricks from an exterior wall to create an opening, through which they crawled to access the building and its merchandise. The incident saw the culprits steal Pokémon cards valued at more than £10,000. Police intervention interrupted the operation, leading to the arrest of those involved, according to an article published on 29 December 2025.
Warehouse operators should regularly inspect perimeter fencing and walls for signs of tampering or deterioration, and consider installing motion-detection systems and security cameras to deter and detect unauthorised access.
