A café in Croydon fell victim to repeated break-ins when its shopfront was smashed twice within a three-day period, according to Mylondon. The burglars made off with £400 across the two incidents reported in an article published on 23 April 2026. The targeted establishment suffered significant damage to its storefront as criminals forced their way in to steal from the premises.
Businesses, particularly hospitality venues like cafés, can reduce repeat burglary risk by installing reinforced glass, CCTV cameras covering entry points, alarm systems, and ensuring cash is minimised on-site overnight.
