A gold toilet valued at approximately £4.8 million was stolen from Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, on 14 September 2019, according to BBC reporting. The theft was carried out by forced entry and took place in a matter of minutes, court proceedings later revealed. Northantstelegraph reported that a man who helped coordinate the burglary was subsequently sentenced in connection with the break-in. The incident formed part of a larger criminal case that also involved related offences at another location.
