A man has been jailed following an attempted break-in at an elderly woman’s home in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, according to Hulllive. The incident came to light in an article published on 9 December 2025, which reported that the man was caught attempting to gain entry by fiddling with the lock of the property.
The case proceeded to court, where the offender received a custodial sentence. Authorities in the area continue to encourage residents to remain vigilant and take preventative measures such as installing secure locks, checking them regularly, and reporting any suspicious activity around their homes.
