Police sergeant accused of burglary in Bridgend

A South Wales Police sergeant has denied charges of burglary, theft, and computer misuse. Sgt Ben Cooke, 34, from Rhondda Cynon Taf, is accused of breaking into a house in Bridgend and stealing a safe containing £16,000, according to BBC reporting on an article published on 27 March 2024. The allegations also include the unauthorized use of police computers.
