A Co-op supermarket in a village near Doncaster was targeted in a ram-raid in which thieves stole a cash machine, according to Doncasterfreepress. The incident, reported in an article published on 13 January 2026, involved offenders using a vehicle to force entry through the shop front. Once inside, the suspects removed the cash machine before fleeing the scene.
Video footage captured the incident, and police sealed off the supermarket following the overnight attack. South Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation and appealed for witnesses to come forward with any information that might help identify those responsible. No arrests had been made at the time of reporting.
