A teenager burgled a home in Jesmond, according to Chroniclelive. The intruder gained entry to the property of an 85-year-old resident and made his way into the bedroom, where he woke the pensioner during the break-in. The incident was reported in an article published on 28 September 2025.
Homeowners are urged to secure all entry points, including windows and doors, and consider installing motion-sensor lighting and alarm systems to deter potential intruders.
