A balaclava-clad offender threatened a teenager during a shed break-in in Redcar, according to Gazettelive. The suspect was reported to have pointed a firearm at the teenager’s face while making threats during the raid, which was covered in an article published on 8 January 2025.
Business owners and property managers should ensure sheds and outbuildings are secured with sturdy locks, adequate lighting, and—where possible—security measures such as alarms or cameras to deter and document criminal activity.
